It seemed as if my mother sensed deep inside that I would be devote to the kitchen, she always surrounded me with books and food magazines, I remember that we enjoyed browsing the pages of the recipes again and again, We would think of when people prepared these dishes and how these would taste.
A few months ago my mother found in an old magazine rack bag one of those magazines which was published by Kena magazine in 1966, special edition entitled DESSERTS, The magazine is complete though without covers, some pages missing and some other deteriorated, still the magazine is very useful. When I started flipping through it again I realized that this magazine contains a full course of high pastries, which I’m going to share with you.
Inspired by the movie Julie and Julia where Julie Powell who decided to devote an entire year to cook and share their experiences through a blog the 524 recipes that make the book "Mastering the Art of French Cooking" by Julia Child, a woman who changed the way cooking of the United States.
